DOWNLOADSFree National Park Service Shuttle System from Ashford to Paradise
Beginning June 21, a new shuttle from Ashford to Longmire will operate on Saturday and Sundays. Shuttles will depart from Ashford every 30 minutes from 9:15 a.m. through 10:45 a.m. and every 75 minutes from 12-5 p.m.
The Ashford shuttle will depart from the information kiosk between Whittaker's Bunkhouse and Whittaker Mountaineering (30027 SE Hwy 706, Ashford 98304). Free parking is available.
Although the shuttle itself is free, visitors will be required to pay the park entrance fee of $5 per person (no more than $15 per car load).
In Longmire, visitors will be able to transfer to a second shuttle which will transport them to Paradise. The National Park Service runs these shuttles from Longmire to Paradise every 30 minutes on weekends and every 45 minutes on Fridays, 10am - 7:30pm. This service runs June 20 thru August 31.
