Hiking in the rain in Paradise, WA

Mt. Rainier is a mystery to us! Each time we have visited her it has rained and she has hidden her majestic face from us! However, she keeps inviting us back and each time we see new beauty! Christine Falls in the rain is breathtaking and refreshing! The slightly sloped hike is suitable for any age and the sound of the falls calls to you from the trail! The stone bridge captures her like an elaborate picture frame and the sound of the water reminds us that there is such power in the majesty of the mountain! If you look closely you can see many little streams on the sides of the main falls. Those are my favorite to look for because they are nature's way of reminding us that no matter how small or unimportant we feel, we each add our own beauty to life. If even one small trickle dried up, Christine falls would be a little less powerful and a little less beautiful! This small hike is a must for anyone who comes to Mt. Rainier and if it is raining put on your hood, grab an umbrella and walk in the rain!
